The life I know
has been around for a while
These days I've seen
will always make me smile
Although some may never agree
With the way I live
to them it'll always be a myth.
Don't want it anyway else,
Wouldn't have changed a thing.
Years have passed,
times have changed,
Still a few things stay the same.
Still a lazy piece of shit.
Skated all day
pitted all night,
These kids, got my back,
forever and a day if that's what it takes,
Won't ever think twice.
Cuz the life I know,
Has Been. Around. for a while,
These days I've seen
will always make me smile,
Although some may, never agree
with the way I live, To them it'll always be
A sight they'll never see, Our ways will always be,
A myth.

Life is not as it seems
Always tried,
To live life by my own means
Its hard at times,
To look beyond the present tense
Wasted my time thinking behind..
Started to look,
At life through a different lens
Looked beyond,
All of the failed attempts
Scoped around this city
Long enough to realize
What’s been here and yours is now mine.
- Never Thought! All the days!
That were spent living under the weight!
Of my ways!
-So I think! To this day!
There’s a better place for me here I say!
Outta of the gutter
Into my own state of grace
With my friends, with these streets,
And the songs we sing,
Apart from this,
There is, no other life
You gotta look, at things another way
Shit is bad always, but tomorrows a different day!
The only way, that you’ll ever begin to know

Toby, got hired
By the TSA
They needed some-body
That wouldn’t look away
A public defender,
Turned to sexual offender,
He needed a job now,
That wouldn’t turn him away.
Went through a cavity search,
And the x ray stripper
And Toby walked right in and joined the TSA

They told him everyone was now a suspect
And glue your eyes across the screen
Toby thought hey that’s fine!
I do this in my spare time!
I’ll be climbing up the ladders here in no time!

That Toby was caught a predator
They saw it on a re-run
The other day, during lunch break.
They held a conference
To assess his progress
And had their minds set
On taking poor old Toby’s job away.
He begged and he pleaded
“You don’t know what it’s like
For me to get a job these days
It’s my god given right
So you can judge me,
Or sit here and berate me,
But, I’m the best at what I do
Of this I have no doubt in my mind at all”
Well, Toby got re-hired
By the TSA
They needed anybody
That wouldn’t even think about looking away
